KS3 Maths Tuition
Master key ideas and skills that unlock the KS3 national curriculum and prepare students for GCSE.
- Make connections: students will be supported to see how ideas and topics connect, which helps maths more understandable.
- Learn key representations: students learn a range of key mathematical representations to support thinking.
- Make maths concrete: diagrams and manipulatives are used to help abstract ideas concrete.
Edexcel GCSE Maths Tuition
Develop a deep, flexible understanding of the underlying concepts on the GCSE maths exam, so students are prepared for anything the exam could throw at them.
- Fill in gaps: gaps in learning will be identified and filled in to make sure students have a strong grasps of the concepts they need for their GCSE.
- Develop deep understanding: students are shown how to understand what questions are actually asking so they do not misinterpret them and are not confused if it looks different than what they have seen before.
- Learn exam language and technique: students are shown the specific things examiners look for to award marks.
Availability
- Morning lessons available on weekdays (9am-12am) - ideal for homeschool.
- After school lessons afterschool (4pm-8pm UK time).
- Please note: I am planning to move to Japan early next year which is 9 hours ahead of the UK in winter and 8 hours in summer, so I may not be able to teach afterschool for the full academic year.
